Matt Moreau

Coach Moreau previously wrestled for Bob Gay, Shawn Kain, and David Armstrong at Whitman-Hanson from 2000-2004 when he graduated from high school. He also wrestled at Bridgewater State University from 2004-2006 under coach Mike Kenney. He volunteered as an assistant coach at Whitman-Hanson from 2006-2008 and was an assistant coach at State College High School in Pennsylvania in 2011. Coach Moreau also worked with the youth wrestling summer camp during his time in high school and in college. Coach Moreau earned his B.S. with Honors in Biology from Bridgewater State University and continued to get both his Master’s and Ph.D. in Pathobiology from the Pennsylvania State University. While at Penn State he participated in a multitude of intramural sports including some time with the Penn State wrestling club. He and his wife Laura (who also has her Ph.D. from Penn State) live in Hanson while he works as a postdoctoral scholar at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston.
